It’s 2026, and I’m officially embarking on a brand-new challenge to share on my blog. This time, instead of my blog-every-day-for-a-month ritual, I’m committing to a movement challenge: 31 days of yoga and/or intentional movement, every single day.
Now, let’s manage expectations early. It will mostly be yoga, but I’m giving myself permission to switch things up when my body asks for something different. The goal is simple and doable: at least 15–20 minutes of yoga type movement each day. Whenever possible, I’ll share the link to the routine I followed that day so you can move right along with me. I will add them to this post so keep coming back here. 🥳
If you decide to join in (and I hope you do!), let me know in the comments how it’s going and which routines you’re loving. This will be more fun with company. Here’s to a January filled with movement… and a little bit of February too, since I’m starting on the 6th (giggle).
One important note—especially for future me: On the days when motivation is low, time feels tight, or life is simply doing the most, I’m leaning on the Never Zero concept, popularized by habit teacher Giovanni Dienstmann. The idea is beautifully simple: never let a day end with zero effort toward your goal. Five minutes of stretching counts. A few sun salutations count. Sitting on your mat and breathing counts.
The magic isn’t in perfection. It’s in continuity. Something is always better than nothing, and small actions keep the habit alive. This is my reminder (and maybe yours too) not to quit just because a day looks messy.
Alright then...31 days, here we go. 🧘🏾♀️✨
