This week's practice is Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing — a yogic breathing technique that helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve focus.


The video by Bharti Yoga walks you through a preparatory practice to clear the nostrils, followed by three stages of alternate nostril breathing, each building gently on the last.
